The Challenge
The Ridgeview owners planned a 9.6 kW solar array within two years — but their 22-year-old roof would never outlive the panels. Mounting solar on a tired roof means paying to remove and reset the whole array when the roof fails early.
Our Approach
We installed a cool-rated standing-seam roof with reinforced rails zones, flashed all 24 future mount points during construction, and pre-ran conduit from attic to panel. When the solar crew arrived fourteen months later, they bolted straight to our sealed mounts — no new penetrations, no voided warranty.
- Standing seams double as clamp points — most panels attach with zero penetrations
- Cool-rated finish keeps attic temps down, boosting panel efficiency
- Single warranty covers roof and solar mounting points together
Planning Solar In The Next Few Years?
Roof first, panels second — we'll pre-wire and warrant the whole assembly together.
